What is SimplylocalX?
SimplylocalX is a digital signage platform and hyperlocal social network. It lets local businesses, hospitals, and community spaces display images, videos, announcements, and social content on any connected screen — no technical skills required.
What is a Smart Box?
The Smart Box is a compact plug-and-play media player that comes preloaded with SimplylocalX. Connect it to any screen via HDMI, plug into power, connect to WiFi, and your screen is live. Includes a 1-year hardware warranty and 5 years of software updates.
How long does setup take?
Setup takes under 5 minutes. Plug the Smart Box into your TV or monitor, connect to WiFi, and you're ready to upload content from the web console.
What plans are available?
Buy a Smart Box once (₹4,500), then top up day-credits as you need higher tiers. Mid (₹6,000 for 365 days) and Pro (₹10,500 for 365 days) unlock additional themes, playlists, admins, and storage. Mid and Pro are ad-free. The Smart Box also works on its own with the Free plan.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. The change takes effect on your next renewal date.
When do my day-credits start counting down?
Day-credits start consuming the moment your Smart Box first powers on, or 3 weeks from the order date — whichever comes first. Until then, your credits sit safely in your account.
What is the return policy?
You have a 4-week return window from the date your Smart Box is delivered. Return the Smart Box and accessories in original condition and you'll receive a refund minus a ₹400 restocking fee. Unused day-credits are refundable. Full details on our Cancellation & Refund page.
Do I need a technician to install the Smart Box?
No. The Smart Box is designed for self-installation. It plugs into any HDMI port and connects to WiFi. No special tools or technical knowledge required.
Does the Smart Box work offline?
Yes. Every Smart Box caches your content locally and keeps displaying it for 24+ hours if the internet drops. No blank screens during a WiFi outage.
How do I manage content on my screen?
Use the SimplylocalX web console at console.simplylocalx.com. Upload images, videos, and text posts from any browser. Changes appear on your screen within minutes.
What content formats are supported?
You can upload images (JPG, PNG, WebP), videos (MP4, up to 80 MB), PDFs, and text posts up to 5,000 characters. Instagram Direct to Screen is included on Mid and Pro.
Where do you ship?
We ship across India. Orders are processed within 24–48 working hours and delivered in 3–7 working days depending on your location.
