Ticker
A scrolling message bar for your screen.
The Ticker is a slim band of text along the bottom of your screen, running under your posts — like the news ribbon on a TV channel. It keeps going whichever post is showing, so the message everyone must see is always on screen.
What people put in it
- Offers and promotions — “20% off all desserts today”, “Happy hour 4–7pm”.
- Opening hours and holiday notices — “Open till 11pm Fri & Sat”.
- Contact and social — a phone number to order on, or your handle.
- Announcements — “Now hiring, ask at the counter”, “New winter menu out now”.
- Wayfinding and housekeeping — “Restrooms to your left”, “Free Wi-Fi: GuestNet”.
Because it scrolls on its own and is always visible, it suits anything you want seen on repeat without giving up room in your main post loop.
Setting it up takes a minute
- 1Open the board in the app or the web console and go to its on-screen settings, then Ticker.
- 2Turn the Ticker on, and write a message — between 10 and 500 characters.
- 3Save it to a library of up to 10, and switch on the ones you want live.
- 4Press Save. Your screens pick up the change within moments — no restart, nothing to re-publish.
Nothing is auto-saved: if you leave without pressing Save, the edits are dropped.

Any language, including Hindi
Write the Ticker in whatever language your customers read. The character count works on real characters, not bytes, so scripts like Devanagari behave exactly as Latin ones do.
