These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SLX On Air services, products, and website. SLX On Air is owned and operated by Wabi Tech Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, purchasing a subscription, or using our mobile application (“app”) or Smart Box (“device”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use SLX On Air. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Users aged 13 to 17 are welcome to use SLX On Air. Where the law requires it — including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which treats anyone under 18 as a child — a parent or legal guardian must consent to that use, and by using the Services you confirm that this consent has been given. Some countries set a higher minimum age for using online services without parental consent; where that applies, the local requirement governs.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a user under 13, we will terminate that account and delete its associated data. Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, or who wish to withdraw consent for a user aged 13 to 17, can contact us at info@simplylocalx.com.
2. Use of Our Services
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Services for their intended purpose, subject to the following restrictions:
- No hateful content — You may not use our Services to upload, display, or distribute content that promotes hatred, violence, discrimination, or harassment against any individual or group.
- No reverse engineering — You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any software or technology used in our Services.
- No unauthorized commercial use — You may not use our Services for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us in writing.
- No reselling — You may not resell, sublicense, lease, or otherwise redistribute access to our Services or any content obtained through them.
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your account and access to our Services.
3. Orders, Shipping, Smart Box and Day-Credits
3.1 Orders and shipping. Orders placed through our website or authorised channels are dispatched within 24–48 working hours of confirmation and are typically delivered within 3–7 working days after dispatch. Details are in our Shipping Policy.
3.2 The Smart Box. The Smart Box is a one-time purchase. It includes a 1-year hardware warranty and 5 years of software and security updates for the SLX On Air software from the date of purchase. Without day-credits, the Smart Box runs on the Free plan, which shows SLX On Air promotional content alongside your content.
3.3 Day-credits. The Mid and Pro plans are paid for with day-credits, bought in advance in 365-day packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Each Smart Box on a paid plan uses one day-credit per day from that plan’s balance. Mid and Pro balances are kept separately. A Smart Box starts using day-credits on the earlier of its first power-on or 3 weeks from the order date.
3.4 When a balance runs out. Unless you have set a Smart Box to switch plans automatically, it stays on its plan and the days it uses are recorded as owed. Owed days are deducted first from your next purchase of day-credits for that plan.
3.5 Converting between plans. An organisation owner may convert day-credits between the Mid and Pro plans. Credits convert at the ratio of the two plans’ prices at the time of conversion, less a charge of 5%, taken in credits.
3.6 Validity. Day-credits are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. Credits are used oldest first. Expired credits are not refundable.
3.7 Returns and refunds. You may request a return of the Smart Box within 21 days of delivery for a full refund. Your most recent purchase of day-credits can be refunded within 21 days of that purchase, less the days already used, unless any credits have been converted to another plan. Earlier purchases and expired day-credits are not refundable. Details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
3.8 Prices. Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude GST. We may change prices in the future. A price change does not affect day-credits you have already bought.
4. Intellectual Property
All materials available through our Services — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, software, and documentation — are the property of Wabi Tech Private Limited and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any materials without our prior written consent.
5. Disclaimer
Our Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wabi Tech Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of our Services.
7. Revisions and Updates
We reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Third-Party Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such third-party services.
